2. I see that you are based out of Bozeman and Big Sky.  What if I want to have my wedding in another part of Montana?
   Let us start by saying that we realize the importance of being based in Montana to better plan your Montana event.  Katalin and her staff are based in the Bozeman/Big Sky area; however, our staff is available for travel to plan weddings in all regions of Montana.  Since we are based in Montana, we are able to travel to locations, as often as needed, to do preliminary work, scout and make sure that all contingencies are accounted for.  Our Montana wedding planners have designed weddings and events in Northwest Montana, Missoula Montana, Great Falls, Helena, and in both the Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park regions, just to name a few.  Additionally, we have planned elegant, tented weddings on ranches around the State, many of which had to be completely self-sufficient due to the remote locations.  Please visit our gallery to view our work in locations around the state.
   
   
3. The venue where I am holding my wedding has an on staff consultant, why should I hire an outside consultant?
   Most importantly, we work for you and will represent your best interests in the instance that issues arise with your selected venue or vendors.  Most of the larger venues and some vendors have on staff coordinators, but the level of service that we offer goes well beyond just coordinating your actual wedding day.  Our staff will be available to answer questions, assist in shopping, recommend vendors, schedule tasting and appointments with those vendors, offer suggestions, and purchase special design elements through our wholesale distributors.    Additionally, our designer will take the time to make sure that the look and feel of your wedding and the associated events are exactly what you dreamed they would be.  You will work with the same consultant from the start of the process through your wedding day.  On more than one occasion we have started a wedding with one in-house venue coordinator and finished it with a replacement.  Katalin personally oversees each event produced by her company and is available to all clients!  Katalin and her staff are based in Montana and will be available to you every step of the way to assist with all aspects of your wedding, not just the wedding day setup.  In short, we feel our responsibility to our clients is so much more than just setting up tables, it is producing the wedding you have always dreamed of.
   
   
4. I am working on a limited budget, can I afford a wedding consultant?
   It is actually the opposite, one of the main aspects of the consultant’s job is the budget.  Our staff will be there from the start to consult on your budget as well as steer you in the right direction.  We will also utilize our wholesale connections and relationships with area vendors to assist in keeping within your budget.  In the instance that sacrifices must be made in order to stay within budget, we will be to make recommendations as well as to suggest viable options.  We have worked on a wide array of weddings and events with budgets of all sizes, and through our hands on experience have learned all of the secret places the budget can be trimmed while still producing the wedding of your dreams.  Although a wedding consultant may seem a luxury, they are probably the most important individuals you can hire.
   
   
5. Are you certified?
   There are number of organizations that “certify” wedding consultants.  Although a planner may be "certified", it does not guarantee that they have experience or are even qualified.  For many that want to be in the planning business and do not have experience, certification seems the logical first step.  Although we looked into many of these organizations,  we felt  we already possessed the planning tools they offered.  Katalin and her team have become the most sought after Montana planners for weddings and events, large and small,  for a wide variety of clients from around the globe.  We feel strongly that our work, and our client's references, will speak for the high standard of quality that we offer.  Please visit our galleries to see a sample of the weddings we have produced.  References are available upon request.
   
   
6. Do you work with specific vendors or will I able to choose?
   We work very closely with a wide assortment of wedding venues, vendors and wholesale suppliers from around the world.  We will never try to steer you towards a particular vendor, but instead will offer you a selection of vendors that best fit your personality and budget.  We will arrange one on one meetings with the vendors so that you can personally meet each of the recommended vendors.  Although we will be available for input and suggestions, the final selection will be yours.  We never accept any type of financial compensation from vendors in return for referrals.  We do meet with all vendors prior to making recommendations as well as check on their references and reputations. 
   
   
7. I am planning my Montana wedding from out of state, can you help me?
   Absolutely!  In fact, we work with so many destination brides that we have developed tools specifically for the out of state bride.  We have a tech support team that allows us to keep you updated using both email and the web.  We are also the only wedding design firm in the state to offer a guest information webpage, built to keep your guests informed about your wedding.  We have found that with many destination weddings, the guests plan their vacation around the wedding.  Your guest page will include lodging information, rental car information (with our special discount rates), itineraries for the wedding, recreation options, pictures of the couple, real time weather for your wedding location, maps, & more. 8. I want to hire Katalin, but she is already booked for my wedding day.  Do you have any recommendations?
   We generally book weddings 8 to 12 months in advance and for that reason recommend booking Katalin's services as early as possible.  However, if she is already booked we do offer associate packages.  All associates are hand picked by Katalin, have worked closely with her on events, and are employees of Katalin Green Design (we never outsource any of our planning or floral design work).  Because Katalin oversees and directs all of the weddings and events  at Katalin Green Design, she will be available for consultations on all of your wedding needs including vendor selections and venue reviews.  She will also serve as the primary consultant and planner as well as oversee all of the design and details of your wedding.  Our associate will work closely with you and Katalin and will be on hand as a day of event manager to insure that your wedding day stays true to your dream and that everything runs smoothly.
   
   
9. I see that you are offering floral design, will that interfere with your planning work on my wedding?
   Not at all, if fact the reason we started offering floral design was that it was a perfect compliment to our design and planning work.  Flowers and floral design play a very important role in the overall look and feel of a room.  At many of our events, we found ourselves tweaking or adding to  the floral design to better fit the bride's vision.  The comment we continually heard was "If we had known you were so talented with flowers, we would have hired you to do our flowers."  We work with floral vendors all over the world  and are able to get a large and varied selection of flowers year round.  We approach our floral design work in the same we approach our wedding design work to produce unique and beautiful floral creations that perfectly suit the bride's overall vision for her wedding.   Visit www.avantfloraldesign.com to see samples of our floral design work.
